Three Threads About Tailoring

Gennaro Paone

Gennaro Paone is the former head tailor at Rubinacci, and has decided to strike out on his own and start a traveling bespoke business in the vein of a number of Italian tailors and cutters who visit cities across the United States. Threads like this are always worthwhile: you get to learn about a new tailoring option that likely is at a competitive pricepoint, and you get to appreciate the drama that flairs up when people rag on each other when discussing tailoring options.

Hong Kong Tailoring

... and for those of you who can't afford Gennaro Paone, or who are based in the Far East, you can always head over to Hong Kong to pick up a bespoke suit. Hong Kong tailoring comes in all shapes and sizes: from dirt-cheap, back alley shops with no idea of fit, to high-end, English-trained outfits which produce a true bespoke suit with a wonderful fit. Learn about 'em all here: from **** to gold.

Fit Feedback: Judged By a Tailor

Did you just bu a new suit? Are you anxious to know how awful it looks? Never fear, StyleForum is here! In this thread you can post a picture of a suit (hopefully before finalizing your purchase) and tailors will tell you what to get fixed! Hurray!
