Three Shoes - Two shoe tree: Is that enough?

So I have three dress shoes and only two shoe tree; Is that enough?

I was planning on rotating the two shoe trees between the three dress shoes, what does styleforum think?

Ideally, no; however, still ok, as long as you follow a set routine (pair 1, pair 2, pair 3; repeat)

I mean ideally you would have them for each. But with proper rotation, it's not terrible. Especially if you consider that since you only have three shoes in your rotation, you wear one pair and have the two shoes you aren't wearing using the trees.

I also like to have my shoes "dry out" before I put shoe trees in them. When I get home I put a foot powder in them, to help them dry and to deal with/ prevent odour build-up. I leave it overnight and then put the shoe tree in when I get another pair for the next morning. So under my system, if I only had three pairs of shoes and two trees, it would work out perfectly. And that would be the case with having one less shoe tree than I have shoes.

So even though I have about 8-10 pairs of shoes in rotation (depending on the season), have 7-9 shoe trees would be just fine. Given where you're at, don't sweat it. (No pun intended)

Given how inexpensive cedar shoe trees are (often around 10 bucks per pair, when on sale), why not just buy another pair of trees? Don't be like the guy who spends $50,000 on a new sports car, but is reluctant to drop more than $200 on a set of tires for it.
