Andrew, those Lobbs are badass. I bet you're praying for rain!

I'd definitely rock those with wide-wale cords and a Barbour.

Seriously though. Where do you keep all these?

Also, where did you purchase the Carmina and Vass?

Thanks to all for the feedback, I sincerely appreciate it.

Some answers to specific questions...

It takes a while to get them into rotation and winter is especially tough as I won't risk trashing a pair of good shoes if there's any chance of lousy weather.

The U last fits me perfectly, quite similar to the 888 and 8000 I would say. The 202 and 606 I find to be a bit roomier.

Given your collection, I am sure you have your share of handmade shoes from Italy.

I do have a few pair of Lattanzis, and the ones I have I really like. In addition to the Lattanzi, I also have a pair of bespoke Scafora in the works, several Santoni FAM and Testoni.

This is my first pair of shoes from Peter Elliot. They have been a wonderful resource for Borrelli shirts and they were one of the first NYC shops to carry Isaia.

The Carmina were purchased at Peter Elliot.

How would you compare it to C&J lasts? Is the monk very orange in person? I can't trust my monitor.

They look fantastic by the way. The suede pair is simply stunning.

The Vass fits similarly to the C&J 337 though less roomy in the heel and just better overall. The monk's color is in between orange and tan, a tawny cognac.

All great!
The Atlee caught my eye. I'd love to see that in a dark leather also.
One of the first shoes (sans laces) that catches my eye!

And really, I don't think we can call this a shoe collection any more - it's officially moved into the museum realm

Thanks for the kind words....

The Atlee is actually a fairly dark suede but my flash ligthened it significantly. Here's another photo that more accurately represents the color.

I wasn't crazy about the Atlee in the first shots, but Wow! that true color picture has once again made me a believer!

Between the Vass U monk, suede EG Atlee, and the full brogue Vass U, choosing a favorite would be like choosing a favorite child; impossible.

Not impossible, pretty easy in fact: choose your first child and last. put all your high hopes in your first, spoil your last rotten.

neglect all your middle children.
