It was just a bad joke made in the worst taste possible...

Unfortunately ,the comments made on FB didn't help them..

Why firing her for being stupid????

I wasn't about to read through all the comments, but was there any mention of what job she was fired from?

When she originally posted the picture her employer was listed on her profile. So apparently someone called the company and complained about her.

Unfortunately, she didn't give her employer a choice. I wouldn't want to be associated with someone willing to put those kinds of "jokes" in public.

.

Yeah, I saw that. Just didn't see if anyone mentioned who the employer was.

This wouldn't be an issue if she was blonde and a lot hotter than she currently is.

Particularly with the content of some of her other photos (like the one with the black girl she shot a picture of)...woman probably works in some ****** service occupation. If I owned a Subway, I probably wouldn't want a non-closeted racist interacting with customers. Certainly wouldn't have hired her in the first place if she made comments like that in the interview or I found them by googling the name on the resume.

I don't get her culpability here. The other guys are Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, and she's just… er… Robin Hood?

Guily by association, bro. Look it up. It's a lawyer-y term.

The story in which bdeuce22 succeeds where whiteslash failed.

This bish posted on bdeuce's pic saying that she lives a block away and wants some candy.
Bdeuce says she can expect a package tomorrow.

The end.

That girl shouldnt of been fired in my opinion. She is entitled to her personal life and as long as she is not breaking any laws i do not see the problem. Especially since she is dressed up as robin hood. People demand equality but only want it for themselves and not others. If she wants to hang around with racists then by all means do it. Last i checked this was America.

As for things pissing me off on facebook.

It would be one thing if it was just her boss finding her facebook and saying "hmm, this looks bad". But this was people seeking out her employer and insisting that she be fired, which is McCarthyite behavior. I guess it's what people do now. Glad I work for myself, so that I can have unpopular opinions.

I don't have an opinion as to whether she should or shouldn't have been fired. That decision is solely up to the discretion of her boss, so that's his judgment call. What I do have, though, is a lack of pity for her. Yes, you're right, she did not break any laws and she certainly is entitled to her opinions, but in this day and age, any **** you post on social media is inherently public content.

She just got unlucky in this case and was punished for expressing (condoning?) offensive, unpopular material.

I mean, if I had friends wearing an offensive costume, I sure as hell wouldn't be posting that **** on Facebook, given that 95% of my FB friends are pretty liberal. This girl was probably an idiot for posting that picture. All it takes is one pissed off person to take action.

Girl would be lucky to not have this **** follow her for the rest of her life, ruining her employability (not that she seems like a particularly employable person, but still).
