+2 I have, maybe, 4-5 good wood hangers....the rest of my shirts are on good old wire hangers.

My biggest sartorial sin by far is that I dress like absolute hell around the house, on weekends, on errands -- basically any time I am not wearing tailored clothing. I care not a whit about streetwear or casual clothes.

Oh, it happened. It's happening now. Ask grim. He has seen the ugly truth.

He's admitted in this thread to wearing a braided leather belt. And you know what those go with? Dad jeans.

And white tennis shoes.

+1 I have a pair of tan cotton shorts on right now with holes everywhere. Whether you stoop to such a low level of sartorial depravity is uncertain, but it is my day off and it is warm.

I can't believe that both Manton and greg use a cleaner for their shirts. Dry cleaning is so bad for them. Sure, ironing is a pain, but it's worth it if it makes a shirt last longer. I'm not even talking about the cost, but the sadness one feels when a favorite item of clothing dies.

My shirts are not dry cleaned. They are laundered, and then hand pressed. The pressing my cleaner does is much better than I can do myself. I know for a fact that I am extending the life of my shirts by this treatment. They also look better when worn.
