I'm going to sell the cursed knife, or donate it if it doesn't sell. My knife sharpener put me onto a cheap chef's knife he really likes (Mercer) at 1/3 the cost of the Victorinox. I have a Victorinox boning knife that sucks, too. Maybe I'll get rid of that as well.

I have one of these and never had any problems with it. Comfortable to hold and slices nicely.
