So I think I've mentioned I'm a huge fan of The Financial Times and I've cumulatively lost--no joke--days of my life tracking down physical copies when I travel. Today they emailed me to say October 12 is the last day they will deliver to my zipcode. Called them and it's permanent for GA, FL, MS and AL because they can't justify the printing costs for the low number of subscribers.

I know in light of a pandemic that's even more meaningless than usual but man I legitimately love reading the paper. Maybe I need to move to a city where I can get it and my other weekend papers. :(

I'm a big fan of the FT. I rarely buy the paper since I get a subscription to the website (and app) through work. But the weekend edition is great to read while travelling.

Now that the idiots in the Happy thread forced me to think about baseball opening day...i’m kinda bummed that the coronavirus robbed America’s ballparks of the chance to really give it to the cheating Astros in every single one of their games this season. Of all the bad things this cuts the deepest.

If I were able to go to an Astros game, I would be banging a trash can lid on every pitch the opponent throws just to mess with the opposing pitchers.

Still your 2017 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!

Why do you think I'm a Mets fan?
isn't 609 like jersey or something? plus your rampant jealousy of the Braves and Larry "Chipper" Jones

I hate interviewing people. It sucks for them, it suck for me. I'm doing a phone technical screening and this person is obviously nervous, trying their best and I'm laying here while Jonas squeezes pimples on my back.
