Start looking for a new job. Confront your manager tell him you want the review altered to reflect the facts. If he won't comply demand to take it to a higher level of management, and never, ever let anyone **** on you, EVER. Oh and start looking for a new job. Actually you should have already been doing this. The time to look for a new job is the day you start your current one.

This is important in the work place. A few weeks ago I smelled something about to go down via email over a miscommunication and put a stop to it immediately. Can't come across as an idiot, weak, or passive. Especially when it comes close to review time (which it is for me).

I went to three stores this morning and none of them had Diet Mountain Dew. Diet Sun Drop is NOT the same.

you like drinking soda that tastes like horse piss?

It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.

not really pissing me off - my wife is PTA president. the treasurer had a baby in oct and stopped coming to meetings, writing checks, etc, so it's fallen on my wife. if you are not involved in the PTA you would be amazed at how much work their is. she sent out an email yesterday suggesting that the PTA elect a new treasurer to take over the job, and thanking the last one for her service, assuming that the last one had decided to quit. the last one sent out an email to the whole PTA saying my wife is going to hell for how she treated the treasurer. my wife finds it funny, but I know that it is bothering her.
I sent out the new componsation plans to my team this week. none of them are happy, even though the plans are good and reasonable. so I will have a week or dealing with thier crying and sniveling over it.

sounds like a lot of ***** slaps need to be handed out.

I had an enormous Cuban sandwich for lunch, which turned me into a lethargic blob of uselessness for the last four hours.

I'm locked into a contract for a year until now because I took up a relocation opportunity. If I leave before next year I'll have to pay back bonus payments AND cover the costs of relocating.

I'm going to schedule a meeting with my admin manager next week to talk about this review.

Why is this pissing you off? sounds like nothing but win to me. Also, Why were you eating a Cuban before 11am EST?

Because productivity makes me happy. And the sandwich was good, but not great, so it wasn't worth it. I ate breakfast at 5:45 am EST.

I was in the mood for peanut M&Ms. I went to a vending machine and someone had me sign something while I was pressing in the corresponding number... out came a butterfinger

:fu:

I guess I got distracted... I then didn't know what to do.... so I tried taking a bite of the butteringer and then just threw it away... I'm pissed that I even opened it... I could've at least gave it away...

I went to the store to buy a couple jars of baby food. The cashier expressed confusion at this, as she did not think I was buying enough.
1. The baby food is for my cat, not for an actual baby.
2. It is not the cashier's job to provide a running commentary on my purchases.
3. Speaking of products that certain unnamed persons might want to purchase in greater quantity: soap.
I hate it when cashiers provide commentary about my purchases. Just ring up the sale so I can be on my way, I don't want your comments.

We have sunshine and warm temps in Indy, but it's treacherous just an hour or so south with tornadoes and severe damage. :(

its weird how the east gets an earthquake that shakes down a couple lawn chairs and it gets huge coverage, but huge storms with real damage happens in the midwest and its barely covered.

stay safe man.

Thanks, so far everything is south of us, but that could change. There are reports that one small southern Indiana town is gone.
