TheTieBar one time use black tie suggestion

Hello, I plan on going to a formal event with a black suit (the only color I own). I was looking to buy a black tie that I would be only using this one time at said event. Seeing that I'm in college and the event is for college students I don't really think it'd be worth investing in a quality tie for this one time use.

I was looking between the black grenafaux, "solid texture", grosgrain, and satin ties. Does anyone have experience with these varying thetiebar tie's or can suggest which type of type would look the best among these four? Unfortunately I can't find real life pictures of these ties on the internet so it's hard for me to decide on my own.

I agree with this statement, especially if your suit has much texture.

While I feel like tie bar's products are worth the money, I personally prefer ties.com products in that price bracket. They also offer free shipping.
