I don;t think they were being that harsh and the second fit is much better looking than the first. May have been a bit nitpick-y but we are too.

Well more than a couple guys were calling it a mess and saying it was completely off which obviously isn't the case. Though I definitely can understand this not being pleasing to everyone.

"yeah I just dumped a body in the woods so what"

Looks good, got a DB too this week (navy, Thom Browne), will post pic at some point. MCers are mostly manchildren with anger issues and an obsession with conventional sucess as defined in the 50s.

As opposed to SW&D which is populated (as far as regular posters are concerned) by snobbish groupthinkers obsessed with 'luxe' and 'gothninja' clothing that will be out of fashion (notice I called it fashion, not style) in another year or two?

The JCrew thread is alright though.

There are various kinds morons here, yeah. However seeing MCers (the bulk of the forum) post about relationships, politics or socialization is an eye opening experience that has nothing to do with fashion. ps: who cares if it is out of fashion in two yrs, you just keep the pieces that have lasting power or personal significance, sell or put away the rest until they come back and switch to something else. Two yrs is a long time. Do you listen to the same music as two years ago?
