I have some super oversized Nike shorts and I wear it with a slim tank while playing bball. It's awesome. Think I'm gonna wear them with some jcrew and a timex watch next and see how much more I can rile up magician.

I don't know why so many people on this forum are into it, it can't just be a coincidence.

I'm also a former metal/hardcore elitist and that last fit is pretty much what I wore in high school all the time just the shirts and jeans were ripped up from shows. Well that and I wore some WWI low boots.

funny though before and after high school I was big on hiphop, and the first cd that I ever bought was doggystyle

Metal is in my blood, my Father used to open for Cannibal Corpse regularly, I was raised on death metal, gwar, and beavis and butthead.

It's funny because a lot of guys I've met in metal/hardcore bands are really, really down-to-earth people. When I was waiting for Jacob Bannon of Converge to sign some **** for me, he was talking to a guy for at least an hour about his dogs and art. Like Magician said, you gotta have a sense of humor about it. Most people realize how ridiculous the lyrics and scene are, but that only makes it easier to be more passionate about it.

You should also check out the anime Detroit Metal City. It's like Metalocalypse, but much, much more funny.

It's probably because a lot of people who like metal are nerds, and nerds are more likely to go on the internet to learn how to dress..

Thank god I quoted this and read the part in white, I was about to pull a xenox. Lets just say everyone I know into fashion who used to be into hardcore or metal are usually some of the best dudes to talk to and the few ones who AREN'T socially awkward.
