Full ceramic watches are dumb:

Honestly, ceramic as a material in a watch - except in a very limited capacity, like a replaceable bezel - is dumb.

In most Omegas, I still prefer aluminum over ceramic bezels

Is the explosion in AP prices over the past decade or so? They’re one of my favorite designs, but they seem overpriced. Plus, they’re in every hiphop song now, so the hype behind them is massive now. It doesn’t seem like their market is going down anytime soon, unfortunately for me.
Past decade… yeah right more like past 4 years. I got my RO at a 22% discount in 2017

Ceramic shards are probably as annoying to pick out of your feet as glass shards

Having broken a ceramic dish, you’re correct. It explodes worse than glass and the pieces are as sharper or sharper and harder to collect because they’re smaller than glass usually is.

So, I got my Everest strap changing tool for the Tudor Pelagos. Holy hell. It took my thirty minutes to get the bracelet off. Rolex tolerances are absurdly tight. I put a Nato on, and then the rubber strap on (have to be careful with this word combo), before realizing that I never should have taken it off the bracelet. It is now back on the bracelet, but with a bunch of scratches near the lugs. Lesson learned.

Be careful with a rubber strap on and tight tolerances 😖

I would say that most Rolexes and Tudors are better on bracelets anyway.
