Don't see many posts of the Sea-Dweller. This is from 2001. I've been on the road for work and kept this one on my wrist from Singapore to Istanbul and London to NYC. Love the feel, weight, and presence of this one.

Have a great Saturday, gents!

Great photos. Crazy idea with that fragile movement but admirable in a way for the dedication to the hobby.

Snow is Garmin territory for me even in resorts after I got lost a few times taking closed slopes and attempting my own shortcuts. Definitely Garmin for backcountry.

Garmim for backcountry, unquestionably. Just for safety and actual tool reasons.

This was just some early season skiing, so nothing serious. Mainly green and blue groomers, but found some nice technical terrain with a little boot pack. This is in Banff, and conditions were better than some US resorts in January.

Haven't been wearing the Tudor Pelagos much in the last couple of years so I decided to find a replacement to fill the diver's watch slot. In my middle age, I'm spending much less time in a saturation chamber so with a waning need for an HEV I went with something that fits under a shirt cuff a bit easier.

While the new Pelagos 39 seems like the perfect replacement, I wanted to give the BB58 a try.

The navy dial and bezel is a nice change in a sea of black dial watches in my rotation. Love the vintage look of the domed crystal. Tudor really captured the feel of the no crown guard Rolex and Tudor Subs of old with this one.

I don't love the riveted bracelet but it made sense to buy it on the bracelet and just try out a variety of straps. It's perfect with a NATO or the Erika's MN nylon strap. Interestingly the 20mm Erika's fits a little snug. I have the same one in 19mm so I may try that. I think the Compass strap from Jean Rousseau in a black/blue stitching combination or similarly colored Artem sailcloth would be near perfect.

I'm still window shopping the Explorer 124270 but for now, my three watch rotation seems about right.

I just bought one of these last week for my son’s birthday in January. Excited to give it to him.

AD recommended getting it now because of holiday demand. He also mentioned that once they sell out they won’t get a restock until February due to holiday closures.

That’s a solid watch. Especially for the price.

Also play golf in all 3
You golf in those? I can't play with anything other than my G Shock. I think the weight of a mechanical watch throws me off.

Lacking the cool factor of the ski shots, but here's this morning...loading up one of the horses for a show.
