X-post from the OSB Official Affiliate thread.

Just got my OSB PT Trench boots today. I ordered them in my Barrie size (because they didn't have my TTS size and I took a chance as I didn't want to wait six weeks). Luckily, they are perfect. I think the reason is because these boots are quite wide in the toe box. Pretty wide for a D to me, but they worked out perfectly in my case. Am looking forward to beating these up some as they will look better that way. Early for me to say yet but at the moment, I highly recommend! Some pics...

Look on Amazon and you will find a plethora of these in their boot listings, in a wide range of prices. I have looked at most of them before buying a pair of RM Williams...

I'm interested on getting Dr. Marten Chester but it seems like it's sold out everywhere. I'm new to the boot scene so I could not tell the type of boot dr. marten chester is. after some random search on amazon, I found that bates lites 6" chukka looks alike dr. marten chester. After reading reviews of bates, I found out that the sole is wearing out too soon. I know clarks desert mali looks like it as well but I prefer the gloss leather finishing and I already own 1 pair of beeswax desert mali.

I was wondering is it worth to get bates and resoled it to vibram soles for 60usd? or any other boot out there that resemble Dr. Marten Chester? Budget around 150usd to 250usd.

I'm okay with the Chester, but like most of the Bates that one just looks like Law Enforcement to me...

Like I said, I'm new to the boot scene. If I could get something similar to Chester, I'll never ever wanna get the bates. I know there's definitely some other boot maker who did the same style, that's why I need help from everyone here to enlighten my boot search.

I was actually curious if anyone here had one of the Stacy Adams Brockton Originals line boots- I really like the look of these and even if they're not high dollar or quality if they're comfortable and don't fall apart in a year I would buy them... I am curious about the brown, can't decide if it's a rougher leather than the other three, or actually suede. That Navy has possibilities...

Brown-

Black-

Cognac- has possibilities too...

Navy- with jeans maybe??

Okay, one for the shine gurus- Lear, you around? Hope this question doesn't make you horripilate with embarrassment for me- is there a way to take the shine OFF a shoe? Make it a dull leather matte finish... ?

Okay, the Net Nanny is holding my posts now, after letting about 10 of them post- go figure! If they all post at once I AM going to look like a troll...

Does anyone have experience with Diesel boots? Love the jeans, really like the look of this boot... rubber soles, so good in the rain or a sticky bar floor...

I need your advice.

I have two questions.

1. I love this look, but i don't know, what kind of shoes i need, any suggestions?

2. I have been looking a pair of boots (to combine with a jean and a white casual shirt). Price around 150$

I fall in love of these boots, but i don't know the brand or quality, what do you think? worth it?

Thank you, i really appreciate your help.

P.S: I am learning english, if you have to correct me, don't hesitate.
