I am a third year Fashion Design student studying at Birmingham City University, for my dissertation I am exploring and discussing the rise of the Menswear market as it emerges from the womenswear shadow. I would greatly appreciate you taking some time out of your day, if you are specifically male, to help me with my research, allowing me to gain a deeper insight into the consumers views on the subject areas I am exploring:
1) Would you say you’re a style conscious male?:
2) If so, would you say you are more style conscious now than you were five years ago (or any other time frame in particular)? And if yes, what do you think has caused this?:
3) During the core of the recession, would you say the amount you spent on clothing was affected?:
4) Where do you do the majority of your shopping? Online or instore? (If online what device to you mainly use to shop with):
5) What would you say your shopping habits are? (i.e. Do you tend to buy key pieces little and often, do you bulk buy, etc.):
6) Has the introduction of LC:M (London Collections: Menswear), or any of the other Menswear Capital Fashion Weeks, inspired you?:
7) Do you read any menswear blogs or magazines? If so, what?:
8) Is there anything, or one, that particularly inspires you and the way you dress?:
9) Do you have any further opinions on the rise of the menswear market and what’s caused the male consumer to become more dominating in the fashion market?:
