I think the river last is nice, but do you find it hard to give your Loake's a good shine? There something about the leather that i always have to work ****** off until i get them to shine properly. With my AS i don't even have to try hard, but my Loake always look kind of matte (well not exactly but not perfectly shiny either).

If you want easy high shine, use kiwi parade gloss on the Toe caps and heel, works like a gem.

I rarely shine my shoes. I mostly use conditioner to keep them in shape.

Ritchie brand. Can't find much info online. Most likely a US brand that closed down in the 1980's or absorbed by another company.

Shoes are quite comfortable. But craftsmanship and materials are mid-tier and comparable to say B Mason or Dexter. Thrifted these for pennies.
