I think the river last is nice, but do you find it hard to give your Loake's a good shine? There something about the leather that i always have to work my ass off until i get them to shine properly. With my AS i don't even have to try hard, but my Loake always look kind of matte (well not exactly but not perfectly shiny either).

If you want easy high shine, use kiwi parade gloss on the Toe caps and heel, works like a gem.

I rarely shine my shoes. I mostly use conditioner to keep them in shape.

I've had no trouble shining the Loakes, they shine up well. Tried many brands of polish over the years and found Saphir creams & polishes my favourite. Black mirror gloss on these toes. MSC_6627-001.JPG

I use the Saphir mirror shine product but my results don't look nearly as nice as yours do. Great job.

Ritchie brand. Can't find much info online. Most likely a US brand that closed down in the 1980's or absorbed by another company.

Shoes are quite comfortable. But craftsmanship and materials are mid-tier and comparable to say B Mason or Dexter. Thrifted these for pennies.

What are these? Look to have quite a slim waist and soft leather. Edward Green?

Those are Yanko. Nice shoes but not quite in the same league as EG.

Surprisingly slim looking waist as seen from the top. They look to be on-par with the likes of carmina perhaps?
