DAY 2​

lunch was great, and made more memorable byt both a very good nicciola gelato and a shouting match with an old Frenchwoman who took umbrage at us and then was very apologetic afterwards. After she found out that I was Canadian, she told me that she wished my people well, in a tone that made it hard to figure out whether she meant our crew, Canadians, or perhaps Chinese people. But I digress.

I'm quite interested in this. Please elaborate on this person.
