I size the same. Some people size 1/2 down from 2030 size. It’s dependent on your foot shape though.

Recent sample sale pickup that I’m regretfully moving due to size. One off true old school sample 2030 riggers in mocha vintage. Marked a size 9 but these fit more like a 9.5+. Just tried on and looking to get what I paid for them. $570 shipped obo

3. Viberg Matte Brown Guidi Calfskin 1035 last Derby Shoe Size 8 gyw (fits 8.5 brannock to me)

10/10 condition, pretty much new besides being tried on once. Didn't fit me sadly so they have to go. Guidi is no longer used to make shoes at Viberg so these are a rare find, circa 2019 is my guess


My reference sold for 500 in similar condition, so asking $500 shipped

5. Viberg Brown Split Horsebutt Derby prototype 42977 (2020) last, size 8.5 (fits 9 with thin socks) BENNY'S HK COLLAB, 2018

10/10 - I wore these only 3 times and ended up getting the stichdown service boot version in the same leather. I got these at the recent September Sample Sale so I'm the original owner. No visible flaws, the clicking was amazing on this pair


Unsure if I want to sell these, as they're fairly rare and unique but having both the boot and shoe makes these redundant, asking $600 shipped to get me to part with these. You'll never see anything similar again as Viberg refuses to work with the leather.

6. Viberg Guidi Plum Calf Flat Goodyear Welt Bluchers 2014 Size 8.5 2030 Last

Condition 7/10, obviously worn a few times, creased but also still in solid condition. I tried to get these to work but were too small. True 8.5. Believe these were a 2014 collab.

Viberg sizing is a strange beast. I have 4 pairs, all in size 8, and they have different fits:

1035
I have 2 pairs on 1035. A pair in 8 that is unlined and unstructured (Boondockers in some chrome tanned roughout) and they are a perfect comfortable fit with any kind of socks, even the thickest.

I also have a lined and structured pair (145 oxford in reverse chamois) and they feel like they are half a size small given the instep feel.

I have a 310 pair and it fits like a dream in size 8. The front is voluminous but because the heel is secured, it feels almost like the Alden Truebalance last.

2005
I have engineers from Freenote Cloth in that last, size 8. They are some VOLUMINOUS boots. Length wise they're spot on, but I have to wear them with an insert AND with an insole for me to feel like they're the right size. Have I tried them before buying I would have never went for them, but I am a stupid boy and I love them for what they are. It helps that I live in a place with a very long winter so thick socks as a condition is not a big drawback.

I tried 2030s in a recent iteration although I don't own any in size 8 and I think they were a bit on the snug side. I could have definitely swung 8.5s. They were fully lined and in a stiffer type of upper.
