I reunited 3 Hickey Freeman suits today, two of which I left in the store because of issues I didn't want to deal with, and the third I took home because if was new (old stock) with tags, still basted, and unfinished on the pantses! Very happy with that, plus a pair of GAP selvedge jeans in a 34/30, a pair of "custom grade" english shoes whose brand I have not determined yet,and some other stuff that I will try to get pictures of later.

Good day and great finds all around you guys!

Are people picking up much in the UK? I've looked around some charity shops and found nothing even close to this quality. I live in a small middle class town so you think it would be a decent a spot. I know the US has a lot more second hand stores so maybe I'm just missing out.

Found: one Faberge egg, worth millions. Purchased for peanuts at a flea market in the Midwest. Clock inside by Vacheron Constantin.

THRIFT FIT: Actually ... I'm pretty sure the blanket and everything else in this hospital room is full retail.
I think that hem needs some elastic. You know, to keep the wee one warm. Congrats!

I had a laugh at GW today from a faked RLPL tie.

Keeper had the purple tag without the "made in england" script below...

And the tiny tag at the bottom of the keeper end with the "made by hand" tag, the other side had the word "made is us" lower case U.S.

The tie felt so damn cheap, I was 100% sure this thing was faked.

I wish I could have taken pics of it, but my iPhone does not focus close-up after my oh so lovely daughter dropped it.
