Not a promising start, it seems.

In the beginning it helps to be conservative. Only take home slam dunks. When you learn more you can take home more.

Now that Hickey Freeman owner HartMax is bankrupt, and the suitors are groups that previously bought brands and moved production abroad, should we start stocking up made in USA hickey freemans in case they go up in value?
GMMcl didn't you work for HartMax at one point?

From 1/10/12 - Oh how time flies!

Went on a thrift store binge today:

Dior button down shirt
Ralph Lauren Purple Label Button Down
2 Gant Button Downs
2 Polo Ralph Lauren Made in USA Polos
2 Le Tigre Made in USA Polos
2 Levis shirts

Spent $30 in total. How did I do?

I had actually never thought of selling thrift finds on here, I was just buying for myself. It's become a fun hobby, and I seem to have enough clothes for myself. I may begin looking for things to sell. Is there anything in high demand that I should look out for?

Just a couple old, interesting things I picked up today. Pretty sure the Versaysee is authentic, just old.

Spoosignal.com

Issey Miyake Men. From a long since forgotten collection. Reminiscent of CdG in the mid 80s.

1 button overcoat/cardigan/blazer. I saw the "Made in Japan" tag first and figured it had to be someone like IM.

Also found two bespoke (guessing around 17 or 17 1/2) Ascot Chang shirts (monogrammed, but in great shape), PRL wool blazer with brass buttons (no tag, but close to a 36R), and an EZ tuxedo shirt (15). Pics upon request.

Makes me feel better. So that's 9 months, so by July next year I should be using Kiton as a dishrag, right?

Hmm...you're in CT. More like J Press shaggy dog sweaters and Andover Shop poplin shirts.
