Blue bacon bird lol

Awesome drawing! My avatar is my dog, Oliver, lying possessively on top of a custom taco pillow I made for a taco-obsessed friend. Dog was very upset not to keep the taco for himself. But he was dang cute while trying to stake his claim.

does it look like a gauze? With spaces between the weaves?
If you look at the edges can you see the insides of it? Either the wool used as a liner or see thru it?

Not grenadine. For a few years there they tried making a very close facsimile and many of the Jermyn /High street brands put them out. But they weren't quite right and didn't sell so they died out. Occasionally you'll come across that same weave in T&A ties. It's fine but it's not gren.

I'm pretty sure this is a women's, just so you know. Or am I missing something? Very nice anyways!
Yeah, I'm starting to question it myself.

My assumption were based on about 3-4 ended listings I found for the same jacket, all of which listed the jacket as a Men's and had the opening facing the wearer's left, figure it was one of those situation that doesn't follow the standard "Men's jackets open to the right" rule being that it is just a flap that covers the zipper, not a button style front. That, and the numerical sizing lead me towards men's.

However I just found another listing I didn't previously see out of the UK that has that button flap opening in the other direction, first one I've seen like that, and it too is listed as men's.

Ahh well, should do fine either way.

Just the one stop, and the one item today.

Blue blazer by a now defunct local tailor, around my size (a little long in the arms and an inch or so too generous in the waist) in a nice hard wearing wool, fully canvassed and looks to have a fair amount of hand work. I'm doing well on the bespoke at the moment, three for three.
