View attachment 846519 That feeling when you roll up to a garage sale and see multiple pairs of John Lobb with lasted trees, and a stack of hermes, Isaia and Loro Piana....

Sure beats the feeling you get seeing a post like yours and thinking 'I can't even buy items/brands like this in a retail store without traveling 2000 miles interstate, let alone find them at thrifts/garage sales'!

Edit: That's West Oz for ya.

So... Loro Piana 100% cashmere, made in Italy... but no manufacturer label. The construction tag looks like Brioni? Any ideas what it could be?

That feeling when you roll up on your favorite thrift spot and its all ragged Bostonian shoes, Chaps button downs the staff marked as "boutique" for $9.98 and nothing but Haggar suits...is more like my experience.

Did snag my first J.Press tie under about 12 lbs of Van Huesen ties. Looks like a 60-ish mallard print, maybe I'm off. A first is a first, regardless.

Been a few since I've posted some actual finds. Been letting them slip on by. Greatest hits from yesterday:

L-R HUF, Church, Grenson, TBNY

dunno what to call this awesomeness, no stamps/tags, has remnants of belt loops, sewn in wool liner, throat latch @Nataku ?

dunno if anyone else was in on this one, but was willing to bid up since the shoes are my size.

Last night had great seats for a 4+ hour benefit concert with Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Bonnie Rait, Charlie Sexton, Ray Benson & Asleep at the Wheel, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Leon Bridges, Ryan Bingham and a few more I'm forgetting. Best performance was Nathaniel Rateliff, that man is unbelievable, belts out like John Belushi covering Joe Cocker with more musical talent.

@txwoodworker,

That looks like a WWII-era officer's "jeep coat". Check the pockets, there should be a small label inside with a size and a date. I found the mackinaw wool version last year, but it was just too small. It now resides with @eazye.
