Been breaking them in this weekend, I love em but there’s already talks of too many labels. I’ll post a pic today
what do you guys think of this? i find it looks very interesting

The pocket patch is a kiss of death for me.They’re more of a brown tint then olive IMO, the brace buttons are RRL Cowboy embossed (love em). The suede patch is not intended to loop a belt through, and along with the braces buttons and Long RRL tag get covered when wearing a belt. The leather pocket patch is nothing new, and has been around for years on ‘cowboy’ marketed jeans/pants.
I love straight fits, but I’m used to a longer rise then standard on these from past seasons. Also I’m not sure they’ll be available in store, being they’re LE might have something to do with it but both NYC stores didn’t carry them this weekend.

If you otherwise like them, why not simply modify them by removing the patch. It would probably suffice to use a seam ripper to cut through the stitches from the reverse side of the pocket. The pocket patch is a kiss of death for me.
That’s a good point. I like hbts far more though. Also, it seems like they’re approaching carhartt territory here.If you otherwise like them, why not simply modify them by removing the patch. There is nothing wrong with the leather patch -- it's clearly meant to evoke classic Wrangler 11MWZs. To rip that patch off is to completely miss the point.
The pocket shape is clearly from classic Lee Riders.
RRL's High Slims are a mash-up of classic cowboy jeans to @Randelpink's point.

Is that the Saint Germain store in Paris?I stopped by a RRL store and found this cardigan that I love. I tired a size L (180lb 6 ft) and liked the fit overall but found the back to ride a bit high. The first photo is how the back naturally looks and the second is after pulling the bottom of the back down a bit. What do folks think? I didn't try on the XL and I felt it would have been too large but now I'm not sure. Or my posture is just terrible.
