I finally got the Dauntless jacket yesterday. The fit is awesome. Exactly what I needed. I can easily wear it with a sweatshirt or a light to mid weight sweater underneath. Sleeves are a great length for me as well. I love the older fits of RRL. I really wish they didn't start making everything so slim for the new seasons.

Ill post a fit pic soon. The quality is really quite nice. It looks so much better in person than the RRL product photos from the website. They really should get a better photographer to take less stagnant images of their products.

Looking forward to photos. I've been tempted, but I have so much outerwear already...

I just got this anchor sweatshirt in today and it fits way too slim for me which is what I feared when I purchased it. Its tagged as a medium but it fits more like a small. If anyone is interested in buying it for what I paid hit me up.

noted. I foresee a good bit of my monies headed your way, not only in footwear, but also pants, should you opt to unload.

keep me in mind por favor

lol, a pant collection is the hardest collection to put together i think. Its a lot experimentation, returns, trips to tailor, etc. thats a journey we all must pass through and one i dont want to repeat. but send me your address, if you outlive me they is yers

Amen to that. I barely even have 1 pair that I would call "perfect" for me.
It's a lifelong journey I think haha.

^ true. I think rrl strong suit are the pants. Not a big fan of ther knits or jackets as they are replicas of something that is almost always better and invariably cheaper in its original form. The exception being RRL original pieces like the fair isle zip up. I almost never pay retail but I had to have this when it came out

While I agree to some degree, there are some offerings which I find undeniable aesthetically. Of course this is a subjective opinion. But thats the nature of fashion. If you want to talk about something other than aesthetics and talk about something a bit more objective, say, quality of material, I would say RRL's quality varies greatly from piece to piece.

I feel embarrassed to ask, and please delete if needed, but it's time to delve into some higher quality clothing. are there reputable ebay sellers that can be linked here without backlash? if so, please do.

if not, feel free to PM me, as I'd much appreciate not getting taken by someone online for some fake goods. unfortunately, the DC/Tysons area are my closest RRL locales <I think> and just too difficult to arrange trips to with my schedule.

thanks in advance!

To name a few.

Fake RRL isn't that common (yet). I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Nope, your best bet is to find the item in store and measure it or try it on yourself. Even the sites that list measurements get them wrong. I don't think they use the "B.I.G." method for pants.

Alas, not an option. See my loco.
