@yunBW I am a true US 8.5 and usually a true 41 in EU sizing. I take a 42 in most Guidis, including 795v's.

So generally speaking I'd recommend the same for you, though you MIGHT be able to make a 41 work if you like your boots tight.

im slightly confused with their website sizing, since they mark 42.5 Eu as US9 and UK 8.5( i think) and their 41 is 7.5 US and UK 7 (I purchased the 42.5). Will it be too big and should I tell them to change to 41 before shipping it?

Thank you

If you are a US 8, you should look to get a Guidi 41.5 or 42, based on my own experience. I am a US 8.5 and take a 42.

Ignore their conversions. Guidi lists everything in EU sizes, go by that.

they only have the 42.5 EU and 41 Eu avaliable. Should I give a try on the 42.5 or change to 41 EU lol ?

Pick your poison:
  1. Get a 41 and be prepared for a painful initial wear which might stretch to fit great over time (but also might not)
  2. Get a 42.5 and be prepared to add insoles or pads (particularly challenging for boots with big, fat lugsoles)
  3. Decide your size probably isn't available and go without
I prefer option 3 because I have never found long-term success with any boots that do not fit me well. Others have. All depends on how you like your boots to fit...I like mine on the snug side of things.

Unfortunately it's impossible for me to give you a definitive answer. Everybody's feet are shaped differently.

Thanks, mate. Gonna give the 5zip silhouette one more shot.

If I sniped anybody on this guy - it was a hell of a deal - message me and I'll pass it on at cost if it doesn't work out for me.

not sure if these are men's or women's, but a steal

also, @LA Guy , this thread is glitchy
Hmmm, what do you mean by glitchy? I'll ask @admin to look at it, but I think that I need a bit more information to solve a problem. I just came here, and it seemed fine to me?
