There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I've got a pair of those IS work boots in cavallo leather from the first season they dropped. So damn good. I'm considering ordering another pair in a different leather. I'd rate them higher than the CDiem workboots I've had.

    I'm my experience you'll be a 3.

MA+/IS boots are nice but i feel for the price they are too plain, i prefer to put that kind of cash into a1923/CCP where there are cooler treatments and some distressing. However, if you want straight forward no messing around tough boots MA+/IS are awesome choices.

I prefer the sleek design and round toe that comes from IS and m.a+. Successors to CDiem's footwear. The leather choices tend to be better too imo. The one thing that shines through is Augusta sneakers. Can't get enough of those.

Speaking of which, if anyone has the sick connections and knows where might be stocking these besides HLorenzo, then holler at me. Gotta start saving for another pair.

Just to confirm but the Guidi 988 model when zipped up fits pretty close to the ankle, correct? Or does the shaft open up a lot like a pull on boot.

Pretty close to the ankle, especially considering the cut is angled which means when you wear them they bunch up quite a bit at the front.

Are you thinking about whether they would look good under trousers?

Quote:Carpe's are the the hard built, work horse. The older sister in the family. A little bit thicker in body and mind. All the elements that make up the younger, prettier sister (IS)are present in a rougher state: top notch leather, clean design, bulbous and upturned toe box. There's not much I don't find to be an improvement. Some of the leather choices that Carpe had haven't been available from IS yet, but there's some great options each season that either dont' get picked up in stores or noticed; the reversed shearling, 'ugly' cow, waxed calf, etc.

So I decided I wanted a lace-less boots rather than another cordovan boots from Alden :embar:

I am looking for a black side-zips/back-zips with not so bulky too slick toe box. Can someone point to me what brand/model I should look at if my budget is ~$800?

    edit: dammit red bull :(

^Not very sleek though. Wjk/Jun S21 comes to mind and can be had in that range.
