Looking for a pic or two of the Leffot Blue Suede Indy boot with some miles on them, could you post up pics, Zippy or anyone else?

To be honest, mine still look pretty much brand new.
There are only so many occasions I have for wearing blue suede with red brick sole.

bought the lhs in 9d. thanks for the tip

I just ordered a pair of LW boots made on plaza last in 9D toi be shipped to me out of USA. Alden doesn't have an actual fitting chart so I used the standard Allen Edmond chart and came to a 9D. Most of my dress boots from Redwing to Lucchese are in 8E to 8.5E, do you reckon 9D would be too long or too narrow seeing plaza last has a pointed toe tip? I don't want to look like a clown with long shoes!

For shoes which do you guys reckon is more popular? Long wing or short wing? Why?

Another question, what is the right polish/was/paste/cream to use for a colour 8 Cordovan Shell? I always wondered if you were to polish shoes with perforated patterns doesn't the wax/polish get into the holes? How do you get it out afterwards? Is there a right way to do it?

1: long wing, who else does it better?
2: alden color 8 cordovan paste wax. Works fine with broguing - use an applicator brush.

the break in method
1-where the shoes three seperate time for at least an hour each time.
2-walk only on carpeting
3-after three wearing you should be able to ascertain if the fit is right

Ah, gotcha. Sounds like good advice.
