1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Unfortunately the VAT is excluded in those prices, so they end up being more than a lot of US retailers. Though, great deal on the couple of sales products!

Not a lot of talk about the J Gilbert PT boot on plaza, so I'm curious to see about the fit and overall look when mine arrive soon. This will be my first pair on Plaza, and first shell on commando--two big wants.

Does anyone have a color #8 4060 boot with antique edging? I can't seem to find any pictures of that on the interweb...

Does that exist? I know there is the punched cap toe with antique, but I dunno about a straight tip...

    Oh okay. Thanks!

I think it might look good. I'm not 100% sure though...

The straight tip is Alden's most "formal" boot. I don't think the antique edge treatment would work, but I have been wrong before. Just my opinion.

I was very encouraged to see the words:

    "On Fedex vehicle for delivery"

Appear for the Fedex tracking number today.....[IMG]

As far as Alden formal boots are concerned, what about Plaza Last boots?

Those would seem to be to me at least, the most formal of all.
