I don't know u guys, I picture sazon looking like his avatar. Ps, I don't look like my avatar.

DV, my mind is blown! I don't care what you say, you will always be your badass avatar in my mind.

And I agree with you - Sazon will always be the happiest dude in the world, perpetually in mid-laugh.

That's Louie Prima in my avatar...the Italian-American King of Swing from New Orleans. He was a stylish dude. I don't look much like him but I do love the happiness on his face in that picture and his cool shades (ray bans?)

I was going to say I'm not as old as him, but looking at that pic, and realizing I am now 4380 days past my 30th birthday, maybe I am as old as him in that picture.

p.s. Agree - DV's avatar scares me in the middle of the night!

I had really hoped that you looked like your avatar, MrDV. Sazon, not you too! This forum is a web of lies!

Nonetheless, I am still holding out hope that REguy is in fact the person in his avatar photo.

I am in fact a cat in a box riding a skateboard.

I heart Balmorals! I prefer them to Blutchers. To me they are cleaner looking due to the closed nature of the shoe. I also typically wear my Alden's with suits.

I have both bals and bluchers, but, as far as shoes (not boots) go, I have a preference for bals.  I just tend to like the style more and I also tend to find that my pants, tailored for a medium to full break, ride up a bit on the bluchers.  With boots it is a different story - I have no bals, a bunch of bluchers, and few chelseas.  I tend to wear the boots more with jeans, though.

Much like the kids of today who are obsessed with "thigh gap," I think I may be putting too much emphasis on "quarters gap." You all have great style and seem to dress similarly, so I will continue to wear my bals without feeling that there is something off. Thanks!
