1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Thanks, glad you liked it (I wish I could take some pics that were closer to your level). I was planning to post something with a little more oomph in the near future but I had that one on my phone from the other day and I thought it would be useful for anyone interested. All 3 have exceeded my expectations and have distinctly unique styles. *yes on the Jcrew version of the PCT

Just received the irregular list for 9 and 9.5. No shell at all and really not much else. Couple interesting saddles. Oh, and BTW, it appears the prices have gone up to $325 on some of the non-shell.

For the Van, I size down and for the Plaza, I stay TTS (including Plaza loafers).

If anyone out there is looking for an Alden "starter," there is a nice tan calf LWB 10D for $300 on TSM's irregular list. Not sure if it's the J Crew version or not. Other than that, nothing interesting in 10D, 10.5D, 10E, or 10.5E.

I'll take pics of mine tomorrow. Walked in there and was totally not expecting something that beautiful. I was having a hard time deciding between color 8 shell and black shell but the 8 shell won out.

I got an 8.5D in the Grant and also wear an 8.5D in my Indy's. My Indys are much roomier however. We tried an 8D for me in the chukkas but my left toe was ever so slightly too close to the end so we agreed that the 8.5D was the best fit for me. Guess I'm a pretty solid 8.5D in most of their lasts due to the full shape of my foot.

No shell on either the 9, 9.5, or 10 D lists.

Obviously the reason the seconds list is lacking is because Alden sends everything made out as firsts ;)

Speaking of Alden DC - I forgot to ask Kathy what lists she has going for shell makeups. I know about the cigar cap toe boot, but what else? I sorta overheard her mention something about another run of the ravello LWB. Anything else?
