These would have been an excellent contribution to Patina Sunday. Outstanding DonL! Could use a little edge treatment though, [IMG].

Thanks. It's actually dirt as I had just walked in from the parking lot.

Total cave in. Had to go for the Alden + Context Rough Roy Boot Pre-Order.

Now, getting married isn't the only good thing happening to me in September :slayer:

Does anyone have any idea when the cut-off for preorders of that boot is?

Getting married is the ONLY good thing that will happen to you in September. Learn it, live it, love it and never say the other thing again. If you want to be happy that is. :nodding:

    BTW: Congrats.

Does anyone here have or have experience with, the tremont last vs barrie? I know they are both supposed to run "around" the same size (i.e. 1/2 size) down, but I was curious about the width in the ball of the foot and if the heel on the tremont is any smaller or (in particular) if the heel cup is higher?

Heel cup is tighter, overall body of the shoe is smaller. Heel is more of a c shape rather than the U of the barrie.

Sure you can. They both just better involve your betrothed. Being married is all about learning the "right" answers. Best to look more excited about anything she does than a pair of Alden's arriving in the mail.
