Thanks Forex / Srivats / DJH...
been staring at them for the past hour, I haven't even put them on yet.
    Hope they fit!

You should post these two shoes in the shoe damage thread over at MC.

    I think so.
On the Shoe Mart site they list the black version as being on the Aberdeen.

Hey Jason... I'm patiently waiting for the UnionMade x Alden Cordovan Captoe Boots [IMG]

Okay... after trying on these boots, I feel that they're a bit tight.
My feet is perfectly happy with the TruBalance last but the Aberdeen last (which these 2 models are on) seems a bit narrow for me.
I'm going to try and see if lighter weight socks will help the fit because Shoemart doesn't carry the E width for these models and I REALLY want to keep them.

Greatly appreciate if any folks out there who have experience with Aberdeen last can shed some light
on whether these boots will eventually give room to accommodate someone flat footed (like me).

    Frickin' Awesome! Great choices.

You are convincing me. Those navy would look damn fine with white denim. I think snuff is a great fall color, so I may delay those and do the navy..
You may want to contact Tom at LS because he said he had some navy suede coming out soon too....

Did you ever order that blue wingtip boot from Leffot?

Hmmm, I've got those Ravello boots too. I wear a 10.5D in trubalance and 11D in Aberdeen.
The Aberdeens are a narrower fit but they were comfortable from day one.
They haven't really loosened up much.
