The Louis Vuitton plague

The LV (Male) Messenger bag is actually pretty good. There is only the Stamped Letter "LV" in the lower right corner, so most times it is not even noticeable.

I do wish I could swap out the strap though >.<;; It has the Brand name running along its entire length.

Is it just me or has the cheap stuff/knockoff completely ruined the brand?

I'm not sure if I'd ever have like LV stuff or not, but growing up in a world where it's so damn ubiquitous has made me forever associate it with trashy stuff. Ditto Buberry check, ditto coach stuff.

I usually feel this way. But a friend of mine has several LV bags, and none of them look trashy, and there's no mistaking them for knock offs. Then again, her father was an executive for one of the biggest corporations in the world; she could carry a crumpled paper bag around and still look richer than any of us ever could (It doesn't hurt that she's stunningly beautiful).

I'll add my support for the non-printed (i.e. Epi, Taiga, etc.) classically-styled (i.e. Robusto, etc.) mens briefcase bags.

I nearly bought one last week. I must say that the only thing that held me back was the price, which doesn't work for me now; I will own a simple LV case in the future.
