Crepe myrtles are weird. My dynamite came our full force early July and is now fading, my Tuscarora is just starting.

My dad has two multi trunk Tuscarora right next to each other. Planted same time. Same general size. Same soil. Same water. They bloom a month apart.

I do not know the varietals we have but they all bloom at different times. Colors are red, white, and pink. Also our Hydrangeas bloom late compared to others in our neighborhood as well but those trees behind them block a lot of early morning sun which may be the cause.

I’ve been seeing a ton of price reductions around here. Unfortunately they’re still crazy high (taking the interest rate increase into account). I think homeowners are having a mental block of lowering prices much lower than ‘their neighbor up the block who sold for $xxx just a few months ago’.

Also seeing actual open houses (used to be all you had to do was put it up on Zillow with some pictures and you got 50 offers over the weekend)

The pros know when to cut their losses. Owner occupiers more likely to HODL and hope.

Same here. Properties that would have been under agreement within a week just six months ago now linger on the market for 30, 40 days or more.

crepe myrtles are a late summer / fall bloomer , my old lady was just saying how she's been seeing early blooms
could be a bad install, but i would bet each block is the same, but all the faces are unique, so you really can't get away with stacking that high.

1 or 2 high should be fine

on my street the cans go out to the curb on wednesdays ...

the last couple weeks have attracted those aluminum collectors on bikes w trailers ,

so now instead of going in the can the aluminum recycling goes into a barcoded bag and gets delivered to the recycling center , proceeds go to the local food bank .

My son learned about hummingbirds at school and asked about getting a feeder. We had one from the old house so I got it out and we made food. Now we have 3 hummingbirds around constantly and when they are out of food and you are on the porch they fly into your vision and just hover there. These things are as needy as my dogs at this point

on a walk through the neighborhood today saw a lady chasing a dog chasing a rabbit .

the dog also spooked a fairly big deer (with points) that bulled across the street in front of me , i'm sort of looking forward to summer being over
