thanks for the look n comments i agree the door is worth a bit of consideration
prob not a inset pocket door but this was why i'd asked about the shoji type or barn glider type solution , most likely on the bedroom side . truthfully the bath door only really gets shut at night to keep the light out of the bedroom .
another idea is a full length mirror the out side of the door and have it open in as shown . and then it functions as a dressing mirror either open (on the bathroom side and works with the vanity ) or closed (on the bedroom side probably some manner of dressing bench etc . hm . i feel like with open shelves behind it the door sort of becomes the *cabinet door* so i'm not super concerned it would be in the way , it can be an afterthought and dealt with down the line too .
