Yeah, but check out all the sweet black leather couches.

I was going to make a Casting Couch joke but there's a literal stripper poll there. It's just too easy.

@brokencycle @Marc Voorhees @Van Veen @jbarwick @Michigan Planner

thanks for the look n comments i agree the door is worth a bit of consideration

prob not a inset pocket door but this was why i'd asked about the shoji type or barn glider type solution , most likely on the bedroom side . truthfully the bath door only really gets shut at night to keep the light out of the bedroom .

another idea is a full length mirror the out side of the door and have it open in as shown . and then it functions as a dressing mirror either open (on the bathroom side and works with the vanity ) or closed (on the bedroom side probably some manner of dressing bench etc . hm . i feel like with open shelves behind it the door sort of becomes the *cabinet door* so i'm not super concerned it would be in the way , it can be an afterthought and dealt with down the line too .

thanks again all !

Sometimes good fortune strikes from bad news.

My new mahogany trim was too dark for what I invisioned, so having them take down, sand, and refinish.

Took off a front baseboard and found new signs of mold.

This led me to figure out my front dripline has a hole chewed in it so it sprays water 7' in the air which covers the front of the house and leaks down below the brick facade.

So my vanity over slight wood stain color has led to catching this water intrusion early...thankfully.

I dunno about ventilation, but you're probably only going to have occasional problems with flow, like maybe a few days each month.
