For anyone looking be aware that's (probably) the 8 zone one. 16 zone is like $100 more usually. Consult w/ your irrigation guy w/ what you need. I'm a big fan of as specific zones as possible - currently running 14 in my yard. Better water pressure, can be more efficient w/ what types of plants you are watering etc.
Tell us you have insufficient setback without telling us you have insufficient setback...

So...the old people who owned my home before me were the cheapest people on the planet. They installed ****** pvc throughout the whole yard, front and back. I could tell I was leaking underground by the ****** pressure and my water bills.

I can fix my own irrigation - but my will to do so is extremely low when there is so much. Finding a good guy has saved me a lot of useless labor and a lot of water cost.

EDIT: In hindsight, they clearly didn't care much about the yard, and probably weren't running irrigation much.
The property originally had a massive Brazillian Pepper in the corner. If anyone has ever fought one of these bastards....they are insane. Spread underground and send up new trees from roots. The mother tree in the corner had become about 90-100 smaller trees spread across the hillside, beween 1" and maybe....20" in trunk diameter each. I have had them all removed and replanted non-**** trees in their place, but clearly the old owners were ok w/ "Feral".

My Previous Owners Buried 10* 50-75 foot rubber hoses throughout all of the beds instead of creating new irrigation zones. Checkmate.

*that I have found so far

TF? Like....w/ holes punched in them? Some sort of ****** drip line?

Other things I've dug up in my hard:
a 10'x6' patch of pure sand buried up on the hill.
About 30 galvanized pipes of various kinds - like the kind that hold up awnings?
Tons of random trash

They were awful.

they have actual dripline in some spots, in others they very clearly just have two end of rubber hose where a sprinkler or something was attached on one and the other was connected to another hose connected to a hose bib on the house

Who buries galvanized pipe??

Not sure how that tracks - as I've tried to make clear before my rear setback is over about....oh idk.... 3000 feet?

3000 feet is less than the PAM (@Piobaire Approved minimum) of 3 miles

No property behind is priced into the property.1

True that. The houses in my hood that are on the golf course get a huge premium vs. the interior properties, even with set backs.

If you don’t own it, you don’t control it. Therefore not setback. I have spoken.

My parent's place backs up to some woods, probably 100 yards from their property edge to the next development.

My dad's been planting stuff on it for decades lol. Nobody really seems to pay attention, not sure anyone really even knows who owns that land anymore.

What happens when the FDA finds his plants?
