Those look fantastic. I also like that they look good on the foot. Typically wholecuts are mehh, they did a wonderful job of giving the shoes a shape.
I definitely like the trees! ??

Wear them in good health. As per the price.... just remember that when you get over the high cost of anything, the joy of wearing/using them is priceless.

Finally here! Pardon the pictures taken with a potato by a sleep deprived post night shift man. Also I just slipped them on with my scrubs on to see how the fit is. They felt really nice for the 5 minutes I had them on. Did in deed feel like a wetsuit from heel to ball. Or as close to it as I’ve ever known. This is officially the highest end I’ve acquired and the most $$$ I’ve spent on a pair.

I believe they're around a $1K USD with shoe trees. I'm interested in their split toe derby model.

They have an RTW line. My shoes were MTM with some adjustments made to one of their standard lasts

What about prices of Graziat shoes?

RTW $850-$1,100. MTM is more due to the upfront costs of modifying lasts and trial pairs. My shoes were around $1,350 including 3 trial pairs, personalized last and 3 piece shoe tree. Exotic skin is $4,500.

For those that are interested, Dan Watkins of Tring Shoe Repair just did a full teardown comparison between Yearn Shoemaker (RTW) and John Lobb, all the way down to the footbeds. It hurt seeing two beautiful and new pairs of shoes taken apart like that, but I am told they will be put back together -- so, all is well!

Interesting to see - seems like his overall conclusion was yes, they’re hand welted. A bit surprising I suppose to see so many synthetic materials but not altogether surprising at this price point and looking to get a comfortable shoe out of the box for newer customers and since we already knew the stiffeners were synthetic. Wish they had a middle ground on the MTO without needing to make the jump all the way over €1,000.

I missed the stiffeners bit. Is it plastic? I’ve been hurt so much by synthetic stiffeners.
