This is not the sort of movie that you have any expectations for. This is the sort of movie where you sit and watch lots of **** exploding and strings of one-liners, and enjoy it.

Well the Governator really does have more pressing matters. And Willis has.... Planet Hollywood? Mr.T would have been a great addition to this. Samuel L. Ã la Jules Winnfield would take this to the next level.

All I have to say is: Dolph Lundgren

Edit: I just searched his name and cannot believe he was at comicon and I wasn't there. So pissed right now.

This movie was so lacking, story, characters, acting was all **** house. Action wasn't bad but not as good as say kick-ass, it should've been good, it could've been good, if they made it like 15 years ago when all these dudes were in their prime. I really hoped it would be good but it was boring.

more: you'd have to go back at least twenty years in order to reach the prime of the old-timer actions guys in this.

Except for Jet Li, he seems completely incapable of aging.

You're missing the point. People were blown in half. Terry Crews threw an exploding football. Like, c'mman!

This looks awesome - I'm going to see it over the weekend.

And how could you guys fail to mention that Charisma Carpenter is in the movie as well???

I wasn't referring to physical prime per se, but rather box office draw prime (ie "making a movie that doesn't fall beneath the financial redline" prime).

But since you mentioned age, well, physically you'll never see an action movie cast so full of botox and botched facelifts.

Kurt Russel needs to be in this and Jesse Ventura, not the wrestling guy and Couture.

If Kurt Russel and John Carpenter ever got back together for yet another remake of Assault on Precinct 13 (like 90% of Carpenter's other movies), I think I'd **** myself.
