I wish you all good health and I hope that bug does not attack us.

I’ve never been in such an emergency for routine components of the shoes I make. I’m sure the garage can make a car tyre out of rubber sheets in an emergency, but I would expect them to have access to actual tyres
Well, yesterday you rode a bicycle and today you cannot leave home ........ you never know what can happen .....

How is everyone holding out on delivery of bespoke shoe orders? I was to have a trunk show meet up with Cleverley on my latest pair... but alas no travel and sheltering at home.

My order with Pierre Corthay is getting delayed. I was supposed to go to Paris in March for the trial fitting but obviously didn't go. I was going to go in May instead but that's not going to happen so if I don't go in November then most likely it'll be 2021 before I can do my trial fitting.

I see. Well, I think I am going to have them finish up without the fitting. My third pair with them so I think we should be good on the last / fit wise. No telling when I would be able to connect with them.

Supposed to get a pair of black boots from Nicholas Templeman soon. I think after this, I'm ordering a pair of derbies or the same boots in a different leather. I assume I should be able to do that remotely and just hope for a fitting late this year.

Oh well, these are such difficult times for us all. No bespoken shoes for a while...

Yes. After I get my derbys in process...I will hold off. I want to try some casuals, but that means a new casual last. I would definitely want fittings.

Waiting for Nick Templeman fitting. When the Pound took a little dump I told him to hit my CC for another order.

I do have a pair of Saint Crispins in the works, not sure if it will take longer than usual. I'd imagine.
