Any interest in a GMTO McAllister, with the sale coming up? I was thinking Navy, black flat welt, indy lining, leather sole (or black dainite). Nothing too crazy, just a color that's not normally available.

Just arrived; test drive!
They look to be the Dark Brown Shell, although not described as such

Super 'glowy' right out the box! Should look bananas after any amount of TLC is applied; see some bloom in a couple places

Anyone have any new oxblood eagle River sightings to report? Seems awfully quiet.

Sad to say I'm no longer all that excited about this boot. Looks like it will go straight into storage for 6 months.

I'll be breaking out the suede McAllisters soon!

I think you will be happy with them...the vtread is an excellent touch and if the color is the same that my returned Daltons were you are going to have a tough time not wearing them....oxblood Daltons hopefully will be here tomorrow and plan to wear them all spring to early summer.

Not gonna lie, Watchman1... I've been kind of just...looking at them, trying to figure if I'll apply...ANYTHING to them; damp cloth, dry cloth, brush...I don't even want to touch them. Color me stunned!

Thanks! I'll have to tell my wife that you told her that she has big manly feet. Lol.

Kidding aside hers are 6D while mine are 8.5D, with the navy being 8E.

I hope some tassel loafers are available on sale. I'm eying a walnut grain Grayson or Lake Shore drive. Or maybe an olive green version suede.

Would anybody be interested in a walden or burke in oxblood?

The Varno 2.0 is now on the website on sale at $249, it's basically a Badlands with a Toby mini-lug. It's listing as clearance despite being a new style? But I think this is in error as it's a new style and the shoe's description doesn't show it as being either clearance or closeout.

Not quite the deal we had with the Badlands at $199, but is anyone interested in a GMTO at $249? Assuming it's truly not on clearance and available for SMU.

EDIT: The Varno 2.0 looks like the Leeds pattern placed on the 65 last (the Badlands' pattern is somewhat different)

Edit: Her ears must have been burning. She emailed this morning and said were wrinkled as well.

My Chili Grain EC MTO (seconds) just arrived. Very happy, and definitely worth the wait. Wrinkling is not bad, and of no concern for me as these will be my rough weather shoes. Considering the seconds pricing and December 2014 Amex promotion, this is hands-down my best value shoe from AE!
