Team Shoe Seaport and their Alden sale..question about shipping delays

For those who purchased a pair of Aldens from Team Shoe Seaport, how long did it take for your shoes to arrive after your order was received.

I'll be away for the holidays and need to arrange for a neighbor to sign for the package. My order was processed on the 19th of November (and my credit card was charged). I've emailed TSS but have not received a response. I'm a little worried.

I know it appears that I'm overreacting but their live chat is down, they don't answer the phones and they don't seem to be responding to emails. I just need to know when the package will be shipped. The later the better in fact, because I'll be out of town.

The are a little store clearing out their stockroom, not amazon.com. It probably wasn't wise to order 2 days before a 4 day weekend. My wild guess is that they will not ship your item until after the weekend.

Regardless, when they do ship, they send Fedex confirmation. You will know when the package will arrive several days beforehand, unless you live in the tri-state area where I suppose it could take only 1 day.

Well, now their phone is disconnected. I'm wondering whether to initiate a charge back.

FWIW, I just received another pair of shoes (Alden Shell Cordo Boots in Black) from TeamShoewhatever. The total time from mouse-click to delivery was just minutes under six days.

I've been emailing Michelle and she's been mostly responsive. They canceled one of my orders and refunded the purchase price. Michelle offered to look through the stock and list any shoes that were in my size, a rather remarkable bit of customer service provided she actually has the time to do it.

I do have a pair of cordovan monk straps in burgundy coming that were supposedly shipped yesterday, though I failed to receive a tracking number.

On my latest order I didn't receive a tracking number. On an earlier order I received an email with a tracking number a couple hours after my shoes arrived.
