Hi, I own a good bit of sneakers mostly Common Projects, and a few pairs of beater sneakers like Nike, Saturdays, Vans, original GAT's and a pair Red Wing Chukkas. I am selling most of them. Anyways, I want to buy a pair of new footwear "must be able to be resoled" and the easiest resoling process is with boots.

I have 2 pairs in mind and limit is $500

Alden Black 405 Indy Boots - Concerns are that they are higher boots then I am used too, only wear chukkas. They might make me sweat in summer, and I want to really wear them as much as possible. The good is they are the best looking pair of footwear I have seen, I hear great stuff about the company, and the company themselves resole them and there are people that have obviously had that done and there experience was good.

Feit Sneakers - Concerns are they are hard to find. I don't know or can find many reviews of the quality of them. They might be uncomfortable. They look bulky. Pros are they can be resoled by Feit themselves so they said "who knows though, in 2 years they may go out of business". They are sneakers a piece of footwear I am used too and I know I can wear them all year long with comfort.

Talk me into a pair of these, or a pair of your favorite. I do not wear oxfords, wingtips, or low dress shoes with heels. No suede "it just does not age as well as leather"

Thanks, if you reply and read this.
