Hey all! I'm a big fan of the 1930s and when I saw Leonardo DiCaprio in The Aviator, I was wondering which pair of sunglasses he was wearing. The pair I'm talking about is featured on the poster of the movie and can also be seen worn by Howard Hughes (Leonardo DiCaprio) in several scenes, including the one where he lands his airplane on Long Beach to get the attention of Katharine Hepburn (Cate Blanchett) and the one where he goes golfing with her afterwards. If you watch these scenes there are some pretty clear shots of the golden, round, metal glasses with dark lenses. First I thought they were the Ray-Ban RB3447, but these are not exactly the same when compared to his. Also, there was a pair made by Giorgio Armani especially for that movie, the model GA 261/S, but those don't even seem to be featured in the entire movie! So basically I'm all out of ideas right now and I would really like to find out what kind of sunglasses he's wearing. This is a link of the poster: http://pixhost.info/avaxhome/2006-11...he_aviator.jpg Can anybody help me out? Thanks! Olivier PS: That should be 'Leonardo' (not Leonardi of course) in the title
