Suit too big?

Hi I was wondering, I bought this suit and havent had time to tailor it yet but im wondering if I should have sized down. I know I need to shorten the sleeves.

too big where i should size down? its a 46 but hes comes in 44, but usually x smalls are too small

Always check to see if the shoulders and collar of the jacket fit, everything else can be altered reasonably easily.

No it is not too big. And it is not tall enough (not sure there). -> Post a picture of the reverse.

It seems short for a traditional suit. You're walking in Thom Browne territory there.

It's not too big...

The jacket looks off balanced with not enough chest fabrics, pulling the front quarters closed. If anything I would try to size up and have tailors remove some shoulders (or abandon this cut completely).

Yes the jacket does seem a little too "fashionably short".
