If I wanted an affordable RTW sportcoat I would go to brooks brothers. I always thought they would have a baggy old-man fit, but I put one on to get the sizing right on an overcoat I was trying out, and I was very surprised. The shoulder on the madison fit is nice and soft and the fabrics are pretty decent. Big around the waist though so you would have to get it taken in.
