Ok, you're saying, what's with Chanel shoes? Here's what: This is your chance for a small, but strategic, investment that will enable several hassle-free shoe purchases for yourself. My wife purchased this pair of brand-new Chanel shoes on eBay. However, it turns out that they are the wrong size, and she can't return them (largely because she didn't read the listing carefully enough; they were not misrepresented). They are marked inside Size 8 1/2 (my wife's size) and were listed that way, but, it turns out, in the French and Chanel sizing, this corresponds more closely to a Women's Size 10 US. So they're too big for my wife. (She should have noticed the sticker put on them in the picture.)
I gather that Chanel shoes are more-or-less the women's equivalent of Edward Green or John Lobb in our world. The seller noted that the retail on these is $495, and they are new. If your wife normally wears a Women's 9.5 or 10, she deserves these. And think of what it will do for you!
$75 shipped.
