I took another attempt in photographing this pair of JS last derby, aniline + Inca leather.
I really hope there’s more people joining the discussion of stefano bemer, I love their shoes a lot!

Don't intend to order SB any time soon, but I would say this is an innovative model for the lazy guy like us...

edit: though wonder the shaft height, also opening on the top would hope it fits closer like real boots rather than chelsea, but doubtful (can't slip in)

Can anyone offer some feedback about size?
I wear a US 11.5 D, G & G 11 E, AM 11 E, vass f last 44.5. What size should I try for SB entry line (essential) shoes?

Personal experience (I have low instep, flat feet, and small heel)

GG 8E in most lasts, maybe 7.5F will fit well too.
Vass F 41
AM 7.5E to 8E depending on lasts.

I take all SB lasts in 41, that includes C, S, JX, JS, J, TX, TX.

Their instep is quite high, toe box are quite generous compare with GG.

Thank you. Do you have any experience with SB's entry level shoe?

equally as nice shoes, I visited their shop during one of my trips to Florence, sadly a little outside of my price range.

Asking about everyone's opinion about these 2 models. How would you wear with these 2 models?
I really like their S last on oxfords, and with current promotion they seem to be good deal, but I can't really imagine how they would look like in the outfit. (All my oxfords are calf leather)

@dieworkwear

If I remember correctly, I think you mentioned that it's abnormal to use non-calf on oxford shoes in classic menswear (I think you mentioned that in the AM thread, couldn't find the exact content, sorry).

What kind of outfit would work on them?

I like those grain Oxford stand alone, probably can wear them with some grey flannel trouser, otherwise I don’t see them being that versatile

Same feeling here, I cannot think of any outfit with these shoes. The color will be darker in real life, but the texture will be hard to wear.

Comparing with AM... Well this is Tradizione, it's on par with Aurum in terms of specs. Aurum is 1700 Euro now so this is cheaper with less waiting time.

And as other people mentioned, AM's shoes always feel a bit tankier (can't think of better words, forgive my poor vocabulary), from photo, SB's version looks a bit dressier. But don't get me wrong, I like them both..
