Spot cleaning on suit?

I moved some horn buttons on a suit (dark navy pinstrip DB), under where the old buttons were there is some slight discoloration that has taken place and also some marking of the fabric from the buttons being there and being drycleaned.
I am assuming with some steaming the fabric will take care of the the marking, but what can I do about the very slight discoloration?
